Process description
Polyethylene is composed of hydrogen atoms and carbon atoms. The characteristics of polyethylene can be changed by copolymerization. It has strong resistance to acids, alkali solutions and other chemical components. Its application is limited when the temperature exceeds 80°C, it will become soft, and its application is limited. Polyethylene is a thermoplastic produced by the polymerization of ethylene. It is a polyolefin product, and its production is based on ethylene gas.
LDPE (soft polyethylene) is produced by a high-pressure process, while HDPE (hard polyethylene) comes from a low-pressure process. Regardless of the production process, viscous fluid is generated first.
