Advantages of diaphragm pumps in offshore applications:
Absolutely anti-corrosive PTFE diaphragm
Safe sandwich design with alarm diaphragm
Tightly sealed to ensure no leakage of toxic and environmentally polluting substances
Diaphragm replacement is quick and easy
No overcurrent plunger seal
The diaphragm pump body is made of strong materials
Ideal valve configuration with modular system
Service life exceeds 10,000 hours under normal conditions
Very low service cost in the best service cycle
The standby pump can be started directly under the normal inlet and outlet operating pressure of the system.
Background note
The disposal of condensate on land is actually not a problem due to the numerous storage methods. Offshore condensate is first degassed and then stored for intermediate storage. It can be re-injected or transported to a concentration point for pumping to land.
In this process, the flow rate changes. In order to avoid the alarm of excessively high liquid level in the separation tank and the resulting shutdown, the pump needs to discharge enough medium under different pressure conditions.
A 28% concentration of LES diluted solution is available on the market, but this means that the solution we bought contains a lot of water and the shipping cost will be high.
As the condensate contains corrosive and abrasive components, the selection of flow-through components, especially valve components, is very important for their corrosion resistance and hardness.

The importance of proper arrangement:
Design of pipeline system
Pipeline system specifications
Number of filters
Pressure drop and mesh size (filter surface, dual filter with switching and differential pressure display/signal)
Fully enclosed globe valve
Buffer tank and its installation location
The location of the separation tank (located above the pump if possible for easy feeding)
In addition, it contains the following substances:
Hydrogen sulfide H2S: corrosive and highly toxic
Carbon dioxide CO2: high vapor pressure, no lubrication, reduced pressure freezing
Mercury: highly toxic and polluting water sources
Water: It contains hydrogen sulfide separated from the gas and is highly corrosive
Diesel part (low content): no danger, except for water pollution
Water + sulfuric acid: acidic, strong corrosion
Sand content in condensate oil (low content): extremely abrasive under working conditions up to 250/300 bar main pressure
